There are places that players can refill water bottles at Tiger Park if needed during training sessions.

Q.  Important things to remember when arriving at Tiger Park?

County United FC share the carpark during business hours with patrons of Wests Leagues Club. Please be respectful and courteous when parking or dropping players off to the grounds. The carpark to the right of Wests club house should be used first with overflow moving into the carpark to the left in front of the bowls green. Entry into Tiger Park is via the   main gate to the right of the clubhouse.

Gates will be opened by Club Volunteers/Committee ONLY from 3:30pm.

Q. Setting up and packing down after training?

Each team will have access to all training equipment located in the Country shed. Please make note of the size of balls used and where equipment comes from, to ensure these are returned at the completion of each training session. Where possible we ask the players are not entering the shed and only Coaches or parents.

Q.   What if my child loses something at training?

For any lost items, please check the lost property bin located in the Country Shed or for anything urgent you can message the Country United Facebook page or email Drew (Equipment Officer) at equipmentofficer@countryunited.org.au

Q. When does the season kick off?

The current start to the 2025 season is

·         Friday 7th March | 1st Round for Senior Teams

·         Saturday 8th March | 1st Round for Mini Roo and Junior Teams

These dates are dependent on weather, so please make sure to follow FQ Whitsunday Coast and Country United Football Club on Facebook for regular updates surrounding any changes.

Q. What does my child/player need to wear during games?

Each player will be supplied with a team playing shirt/kit. These are not to be taken home but returned to the coach/manager at the end of each game.

Players and supporters can purchase a Country United FC polo or training shirt via our website (limited sizes available), along with a number of other items.

Each player will require to take the field the following items:

·         Playing shorts (plain black is fine)

·         Country United playing socks or plain black socks

·         Shin Pads

·         Football/Soccer boots

·         Soft brim hat

**For any items no longer in stock from the club can be purchased locally at either Rebel or Intersport

For enquiries regarding stock/merchandise etc you can email club Merchandising Officer, Brooke at merchandisingofficer@countryunited.org.au

Q.  How do we know if training is cancelled for any reason?

As our committee are volunteers and do work during the day, unfortunately being able to send emails to every

player/parent cannot always happen. Therefore, for any important or urgent updates, please check our Facebook page where we will share as soon as confirmed.

Q. How much is entry to both Junior & Senior games?

Entry to Mackay Football Park & other club grounds for senior games is $5 per person. Please note these prices are not set by Country United.

Q. How early should my child/player arrive at games?

For MiniRoo/Junior games, we suggest arriving approx. 30 – 45 mins prior to game start times.

This will allow for players to get changed and be warmed up prior to taking the field.

For seniors, we suggest arriving approx. 1 hour prior to your game if possible.

Q. If I have any feedback I would like to share with the club, what is the best way to do so?

If there is something that you like the club/committee to know, either positive or negative you can message us on Facebook or by contacting the relevant committee member.
